Eighth County Court User Survey results

28 November 2019

The County Court successfully ran its eighth court user survey on Monday 25 November.

This survey attracted a large number of participants and the results continue to show a high rate of satisfaction among court users.

Survey highlights include:

  • 185 Court users took the latest survey
  • the overall Court user satisfaction on the day was 87%
  • 91% of those surveyed agreed the people who work at the Court are competent and helpful
  • 83% agreed they were treated with courtesy and respect by the Judge and Court
  • 67% believed that all parties to their matter were treated fairly
  • 85% of respondents reviewed the new Court website positively.

The County Court runs its user surveys twice a year to help improve how users experience the court. User surveys are a best practice tool within the International Framework for Court Excellence.

The County Court is grateful to everyone who participated in the user survey and who were involved in making it a success once again. Particular thanks must go to the law school student volunteers who helped to deliver the survey.

The next Court user survey will be held in June/July 2020.
