We have made two video series tracking the progress of a Criminal and Common Law case. Each directly relates to the VCE Legal Studies curriculum.
These two series each comprise an introduction followed by three episodes.
The videos are designed to be used by secondary students in class, but are also a resource for any member of the public wanting to gain a better understanding of our procedures – in particular our sentencing processes.
This series involves a situation with dangerous driving causing death.
Transcripts for the videos are available here: Criminal films Introduction, Criminal films Part one, Criminal films Part two, and Criminal films Part three.
This series deals with a case relating to a workplace injury.
