The Appeals and Post Sentence Application List hears appeals against intervention orders made by the Magistrates' Court under section 114 of the Family Violence Protection Act 2008 and section 91 of the Personal Safety Intervention Orders Act 2010; against orders made by the Children’s Court under section 328 of the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005; any application for post sentence supervision orders under the Serious Offenders Act 2018; and applications for compensation under section 85B and section 86(1A)(a) of the Sentencing Act 1991.
The Appeals and Post Sentence Application List is established under order 34A.04 (1)(i) of the County Court Civil Procedure Rules 2018.
