Find out details of the matters being heard each day and Court sitting dates.
Please take note that the Daily Court List is not updated on the Court's website until 5.30pm each weekday. If you know your case is listed on a particular day (but the next day's List is not yet available), make sure you attend court by 9.30am that day.
Crime and Appeals List: Trials, pleas, appeals and other criminal hearings heard in the Melbourne County Court.
Civil List: Common law and commercial hearings and trials heard in the Melbourne County Court.
Circuit List: Criminal and civil hearings, including circuit directions hearings, listed in the County Court at Bairnsdale, Ballarat, Bendigo, Geelong, Horsham, Latrobe Valley (Morwell), Mildura, Shepparton, Wangaratta, Warrnambool and Wodonga.
Different procedures apply to requesting and accessing subpoenaed material during the December 2019 to January 2020 period. You can find dates for viewing and objecting to subpoenaed material on the Subpoenas page.
The Daily Court List is a matter of public record and should not be expunged.
As such, the Court will decline any such requests from accused persons and their relatives for the removal of names and other details related to court proceedings. This applies to searches conducted on the Court's website and historical matters found on Internet search engines.
This approach is similar to that already adopted by the Supreme Court of Victoria.
It is important to note that the Daily List is already redacted as required and names removed of accused persons where necessary at the time of some court proceedings. This will not change.
