Correct use of forms
Using the correct form is essential if you intend to bring your matter before the Court. Forms are derived from two sources. Some forms are prescribed by legislation while others are devised by the Court.
Forms used in the Court may be set by Regulations (also know has Statutory Rules) made under an Act. Most Victorian Acts and Regulations are freely available at www.legislation.vic.gov.au.
If a form is required but no format has been set by regulation, the Court will usually create a form.
